In alto a sinistra, tre allegri contralti si contrappongono ai bassi in alto a destra, le cui espressioni di canto appaiono quasi sofferenti.
Al centro, il maestro del coro, estasiato dal canto, ha perso la parrucca, mentre i cantanti sembrano ignorarlo.
