Illuminated Letter from the 15th-16th Century it is an illuminated initial letter (letter A), coming from an Italian antiphonary, probably attributed to Filippo di Matteo Torelli.
This unique piece, cut to the figure, measures 78x110 mm and is made on parchment paper using tempera and pen.
On the back, a legible part of the antiphonary with square-shaped neumes is visible, making this work a true rarity of its kind.
