Storpio con stampelle, da Jan Van Vliet, incisa da David Deuchar, con intervento artistico di Filippo Mattarozzi
90,00 €Interessante acquaforte derivata da una composizione del celebre maestro olandese Jan Van Vliet (1600-1668), interprete raffinato della vita popolare del XVII secolo. La stampa fu successivamente tradotta in acquaforte dall’incisore scozzese David Deuchar (1743-1808), noto per le sue copie e reinterpretazioni dei grandi maestri della grafica olandese.
Su questo esemplare è intervenuto l’artista contemporaneo Filippo Mattarozzi, che ha arricchito la composizione con integrazioni realizzate a mano a inchiostro e matita, ampliando la scena con nuovi dettagli figurativi e passaggi di chiaroscuro perfettamente coerenti con il linguaggio grafico dell’epoca. L’intervento artistico si configura come una sorta di “terzo stato ideale” della stampa: dopo l’invenzione originale di Jean Van Vliet e la traduzione incisoria di Deuchar, Mattarozzi prosegue idealmente il processo creativo aggiungendo nuovi particolari che completano e arricchiscono la composizione.
Il risultato è un pezzo unico, in cui la grafica antica dialoga con un intervento contemporaneo di straordinaria perizia tecnica.
Un lavoro affascinante che prosegue idealmente la storia della stampa: dopo Van Vliet And David Deuchar, l’intervento di Filippo Mattarozzi crea una sorta di terzo stato artistico, rendendo questo foglio un esemplare unico.

Filippo Mattarozzi è un disegnatore autodidatta specializzato nella riproduzione e reinterpretazione di incisioni antiche. La sua tecnica estremamente raffinata porta spesso i suoi lavori a essere confusi con stampe originali del XVII secolo.
