Descrizione:
Raffinata incisione all’acquaforte e acquatinta con intervento a lavis, realizzata da Carlo Lasinio, uno dei più importanti incisori e museografi italiani del Settecento. Quest’opera è ispirata a un affresco di Giotto, maestro della pittura pre-rinascimentale, e raffigura la commovente scena della Deposizione della Vergine. Lasinio, noto per la sua capacità di trasferire su carta le grandi opere della pittura italiana, rende qui con grande sensibilità espressiva il pathos e l’equilibrio della composizione giottesca.
Lasinio è celebre anche per il suo lavoro di conservazione e catalogazione delle pitture del Camposanto Monumentale di Pisa, di cui fu curatore per molti anni.
Stampa molto decorativa, di qualità museale, ideale per collezionisti e amanti dell’arte sacra e della grafica italiana del XVIII secolo.
