Senza copertina e rilegatura, legati insieme da uno spago.
Nel 1657, Claudine Bouzonnet Stella pubblicò una raccolta di una cinquantina di incisioni di giochi infantili basate sui disegni di suo zio Jacques Stella, morto poco prima. Nel 1799, una raccolta di dodici di queste stampe, ristampata da Alexandre Chaponnier, fu pubblicata da Chaise Jeune, con una pagina esplicativa per ogni illustrazione. I giocatori sono bambini, tutti nudi e paffuti, che giocano all’aperto. Tutte le stampe sono finemente acquerellate.
