Quattro Capilettera miniati tratti da antifonario del XV-XVI secolo di area italiana (probabile autore Philip by Matteo Torelli), ritagliati alla figura, misura mm.54×49 ognuno, su carta forte tipo pergamena, tempera e penna, con al retro parte leggibile dell’antifonario con simboli di forma quadrata. Rarità.
Origine: Proviene da un antifonario (un libro liturgico per il coro) di area italiana, probabilmente attribuito all’artista Filippo di Matteo Torelli.
Stile e Tecnica: È realizzata con tempera e penna su carta pergamena. La decorazione interna presenta motivi vegetali e geometrici tipici dello stile rinascimentale, con un uso vivace di blu, rosso e verde.
Curiosità: Pezzi come questo venivano spesso ritagliati dai volumi originali per essere conservati o venduti come opere d’arte singole.
